Emmett Patterson, a PrEP using queer trans man based in Washington DC, USA talks about how trans men are often excluded from PrEP research. Many trans people have competing priorities that relate to their health – such as access to hormones, or getting access to a doctor’s appointment - and these present further challenges to PrEP access for trans people.
