an HIV test
and a kidney function test.

Starting PrEP is also a good time to make sure your vaccinations are up-to-date and to have tests for STIs. Your clinic will be able to provide these vaccines and tests.

Anyone in the UK can access sexual health services for FREE. You do not have to provide proof of address (but you’ll be asked to provide a postcode or zip code). You do not have to use your local clinic.

You can still access PrEP, HIV + STI testing, and HIV + STI treatment if you do not have a secure UK address, or if you do not have secure immigration status. Sexual health services in the UK are confidential. By law they cannot share your details without your permission.

If you were on the England IMPACT Trial and want to continue taking PrEP you can access NHS PrEP from your trial clinic, or any other sexual health clinic.

If you've been buying PrEP online and want to start accessing PrEP through the NHS, you can do so by contacting your sexual health clinic and booking a PrEP appointment.
